Welcome to a preserved corner of paradise, where nature and scenery are enchanting:

The park of our estate will reveal to you a unique and varied atmosphere like nowhere else: sometimes romantic, sometimes marvelous, some often describe the places as heavenly or fairy tale.

30 minutes south of Tours, in Touraine, the aptly named "Jardin de la France", is an exceptional place: a private botanical garden, sheltered from prying eyes and tall trees, where beauty and splendid perspectives are enhanced by permanent plays of natural light and shadow; a protected, poetic and dreamlike place, the Moulin de Malicorne.

This jewel of biodiversity and authentic aesthetics, managed with respect for the ecosystem, is located in the heart of the Courtineau Valley, classified as a Natural Area of Ecological, Fauna and Floristic Interest (ZNIEFF), a natural area inventoried due to of its remarkable character. Configured in a canyon, the biotopes and landscapes of the Valley are particularly picturesque and marvelous, visitors draw parallels with the universe of Lord of the Rings.

The Moulin de Malicorne park covers 3 hectares of land and water, managed in an entirely natural way. Here, beauty and ecosystem reign supreme, offering a variety of beautiful and incredible settings and viewpoints: from wetlands to murmuring streams, from the body of water with its private island, from drier areas to lush forests , passing through the shaded undergrowth, the orchard, the large meadow of silver maples, or the gaze admiring the water lilies on the pond which has almost nothing to envy of Monet's garden in Giverny, each corner of the garden is source of wonder.

The Moulin de Malicorne is also an invitation to travel: sheltered from the foliage of giant bamboos which will take you on a journey to Asia, passing by the forest slopes overlooking the stream and covered with astonishing ever-green scolopendrium which will make you believe in the Amazon , or the tour of the pond and its fabulous Canadian colors in autumn, under the leaves of giant Brazilian rhubarbs worthy of Jurassic Park in spring and summer, under the golden autumn rain of the venerable Gingko, and much more ...in all seasons the estate reveals surprises and splendors...

Here the perspectives, the points of view and the decors are incredible, wherever you look, beauty is everywhere: immersed in the heart of the unique universes already described above, or even with the bucolic background of the house from the boat, crossing the little sparkling stone bridge of Goose Island, under a majestic weeping willow with a romantic atmosphere, or quite simply at the edge of the water present here everywhere... you will be spoiled for choice.

The splendor of the wild and preserved nature, the variety of remarkable species planted, coupled with the landscaping work carried out, will leave you with unforgettable and unique memories, also enhanced by the famous, warm and soft Touraine light already chosen in their time by the queens and kings of France.

The exterior surface area at your disposal, unique and magical, is more than 1 hectare.

The interior surface area at your disposal is 32m2: The old mill mechanism room, full of charm with its rotunda still present, and renovated.

On simple request and after exchange, you can install your equipment, your tent, marquee, barn or other in the park...

If necessary, we can offer you a small cool storage in our personal refrigerator.

A swimming pool wonderfully integrated into the exceptional natural setting, open from May to October, is present on the site and it can appear in your photos as part of the package. If you wish to swim there, a prior discussion for the conditions and a supplement will be expected.

Water being present everywhere, the presence of children is accepted under the sole and entire responsibility of the parents or chaperones (we decline any responsibility concerning their safety).

Wild otters and many animals are already present on the site, our dog friends coming from outside cannot be accepted.

It is authorized (and recommended) to immerse yourself, touch, breathe and admire nature while respecting the exceptional ecosystem here.

Music is accepted, but not recommended in order to best immerse yourself in the experience, the preserved natural environment, and the authentic and unique atmosphere of the place.

Moderate - Moderate: cancel more than 14 days prior to event to get 50%* refund of the price (full booking amount) and more than 30 days prior to get a 90%* refund of the price

Additional Information

The prices displayed on this site ensure privatization, with our presence on site, and you are then the organizer.

Other modalities are possible within the framework of a possible partnership to be exchanged if necessary.
