The 2021-2022 season starts the first week of September with a trio of meetings centered around the Transport & Logistics - Security, Safety & Prevention and IT & IT Security sectors. Tuesday 7th- Sunday 12th: Cannes Yachting Festival

YatchFestival

Set against the backdrop of the Vieux Port and the Port Pierre Canto, the Cannes Yachting Festival is officially the first boat show in the international calendar each year. Postponed in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2021 edition of the festival is back with a bang and promises visitors access to almost 600 boats across 3 exhibition spaces during the 6-day show. Tuesday 7th- Wednesday 8th: MIPIM September Edition

The first congress event to reconnect visitors ‘in-person’, the MIPIM September Edition marks the return of the world’s premier international real estate event to the Croisette. Postponed in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the MIPIM September Edition will offer an enhanced physical experience combined with a new digital platform allowing visitors to achieve their business goals and reassess strategy with the help of key players from the real estate industry.

Tuesday 14th- Wednesday 15th: Customer Relationship & Marketing Meeting

Wednesday 13th-Friday 15th: ESports Bar

A new addition to the events calendar, the ESports Bar is the world’s first business arena for the esports industry. February 2022

Tuesday 1st- Thursday 3rd February: IPEM

After the 2021 edition was held in Paris, the IPEM conference will make a welcome return to the Croisette in February 2022. The premier event of the Private Capital community, IPEM 2022 will bring together 3200 delegates from over 50 different countries around the globe for 3 days of power talks, workshops and networking events centred around a common theme of building back the European economy. A fully digital event, 2022’s programme will also be available online for anyone who can’t make it to the French Riviera this February.

March 2022

Tuesday 15th-Friday 18th: MIPIM

Following on from the MIPIM September event, the real estate industry will be back in Cannes in March for the 2022 edition of the show. As with MIPIM September, MIPIM 2022 will be offering attendees both an in-person and an online experience, with live access to all the matchmaking, networking and conference programmes available on the platform. With a full schedule of social events plus a prestigious awards ceremony planned during the 4-day event, MIPIM is going all out this season in Cannes.

April 2022

Tuesday 19th- Thursday 21st April: Heavent Meeting

Another exciting new event from the team at Weyou, the Heavent Meeting is a MICE event aimed at the Business Tourism and Events Industry. May 2022

Tuesday 17th -Saturday 28th May: Cannes Film Festival

FilmFestival

The biggest and brightest event on the French Riviera each year, the Cannes Film Festival needs no introduction. Postponed until July in 2021 due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the 75th edition of the festival will take place from the 17th-28th May with a dazzling array of film screenings, A-list parties and industry events on offer throughout. An industry-only event, this year’s festival will see a particular focus on sustainability as plastic water bottles will be banned, 60% of the vehicles used will be electric or hybrid and 50% of the iconic red carpet to be made from recycled materials which will be reused after the event is over.

June 2022

Tuesday 7th- Friday 10th June: MIDEM

Kicking off the summer season on the French Riviera, the MIDEM Congress will take over the Palais des Festivals for 4 days in June. The leading event for the global music community, while 2021’s event was fully digital, the 2022 edition of the congress will bring members of the music community together in Cannes. As the industry’s premier marketplace, this is the place to meet with record labels and streaming services, discover new talent and grow your brand.
