As the owner of an event space, we understand that making sure your property is well looked after during bookings is a top priority. While renting your venue out for events on a short-term basis is a great way to make some extra money when you’re not in residence, your peace of mind is also key to ensuring successful bookings which is why here at Native Spaces we are committed to protecting both you and your space.

Find out more about your guests

Once you feature your space on the Native Spaces website, you can start accepting reservations for your venue via our booking platform. Through the platform, you’ll be able to send and receive messages from clients who are interested in hiring your space and find out more about the type of event they will be holding. If you have any questions or would like to meet the customers before confirming the reservation, you can also request a meeting with them in person using the platform.

Secure and easy payment system

Once you confirm the booking, the customer will have to pay a deposit based on a fixed percentage that you will have indicated at the time of making the estimate. The deposit will be held in an escrow account and the client will receive an automatic request for the remaining payment 30 days prior to the event. Once the event is over, you will receive a full online payment from Native Spaces via our secure Stripe payment process at no extra charge.

Comprehensive insurance coverage

Nobody wants to think about things going wrong and luckily major incidents during an event booking are rare but accidents can and do happen, so it’s always better to be prepared. In order to ensure that all damages or breakages to your property are covered, for each and every booking made via the Native Spaces platform, we provide hosts with a comprehensive insurance policy which covers your venue and property for up to €1,500,000 in material damages.

When you accept a reservation via Native Spaces, the insurance policy is activated automatically and is valid for the duration of the booking. The policy covers material damage caused by the event organiser or guests to your space and/or property belonging to service providers such as caterers or photographers. All material damage including fires/explosions, water leaks, theft and glass breakages are covered up to a maximum amount of €1,500,000 which means that you can relax, safe in the knowledge that your property is in good hands.

Flexible cancellation policies

Even with the best will in the world, sometimes things don't go as planned and your guests may cancel their reservations. In order to handle cancellations in the best possible way for both hosts and guests, we have developed three cancellation policies to suit your needs. As a host, you can choose between our flexible, moderate or strict policies to cancel a booking at least 72 hours before the event and receive a refund of the service fee incurred.
